I've had this nailer for about 8 months or so and have never had a problem with it. It's never misfired or jammed. I do not use it every day so I cannot vouch for it's durability.
Overall I am very pleased with this nailer compared to reviews I've read about others. It seems like there are just some defective units around as is the case with all products.
I was so pleased with this gun, I bought the straight 18gauge version of this one and have also had no problems yet.
